We use professional video cameras, microphones, and lighting to ensure the highest quality recordings.

How long is the interview process?
Interviews can typically last anywhere from 1–8 hours, depending on your preferences and the depth of your story.

What if I feel nervous?
That is perfectly normal! We create a relaxed, supportive environment where you will feel comfortable sharing your story.

Can I edit my story later?
Yes! You’ll have the opportunity to review the recording and request any edits before the final version is delivered.

What if we have a language barrier?
A translator can be provided upon request for an additional fee.

What if I have a disability and need accommodations?

We aim to create a space for you to tell your story that is fully accessible to you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make the process more accommodating for you.

What if I do not remember much about my life or experiences?
It is normal to feel that you will not remember enough about your life. However, the interview will be structured as a way to purposefully allow you to remember things which you have not thought about in years. We will also conduct a pre-interview meeting to help you begin spurring your thoughts in advance of the actual interview.
